what to expect
We are excited to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family. We will have a ceremony on Friday evening, followed by a reception on Saturday afternoon.
Saturday
Casual outdoor reception with lawn games, food, drinks, and dancing. Kids are welcome to join the celebration! Please be sure to include your kids in your guest count when RSVP'ing.
Attire: outdoor casual - think summer dresses and linen shirts. You want to look good but also be ready to win lose a game of cornhole (against Joe).
accommodations
Penryn is a small town without many accommodation options. If you're looking to stay in Penryn or Loomis, we recommend checking Airbnb/Vrbo for rentals as there aren't any hotel options.
We've put together the map below with hotels and some of our favorite local restaurants and coffee shops for you to enjoy during your stay.
- Rocklin + Roseville (15-20 min drive) Located between Penryn and Sacramento, you'll find a mix of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Home to many chain restaurants and majority of the hotel options, Rocklin and Roseville has something for everyone.
- Auburn (15 min drive) A cozy town set above Penryn on your way to Tahoe, Auburn truly has a small town vibe. It's home to many local coffee shops and eateries that have won over our hearts. A few hotel options but Airbnb or VRBO may be a better option for Auburn.
- Sacramento (40 min drive) The capital city with a cool, eclectic vibe. You'll find a mix of historic landmarks, trendy neighborhoods, and great bars and restaurants. There is no shortage of accommodation options in Sacramento. If you are looking to venture around on foot, this is a great option for your stay!
